Pacific Energy Corp. partnered with Hanwha Energy Corp. to develop Guam Power Authority’s Phase II Renewable Energy Project. The project includes a 90 MW DC solar farm integrated with a 72 MWh Energy Storage System (ESS) designed for energy shifting and ramp rate control. As part of the agreement with GPA, Hanwha Energy Corp. will also construct a 17-mile, 115kV transmission line to enhance Guam’s power infrastructure and grid stability.
